Ideamart Agent of Influence Program

Ideamart agent of influence(AoI) program is a recently initialized program by dialog ideamart. The main purpose of this whole AoI program is to make awareness of ideamart to the society and make people to use and make ideamart apps for the betterment of the country. This is a ambassador network program manage and design by ideamart. This progeam was initialized on 9th December 2017 and the selected AoIs were active participants of ideamart from different fields like school students, university students as well as industrial people. Currently there are about 20 AoIs. So as a AoI, one should make awareness about ideamart in our society by doing sessions on ideamart, making videos or tutorials about ideamart and publishing them on social media, spread the word about events, workshops and other sessions on ideamart to the society like wise we have some responsibilities to fulfill. Girls’ Coding Bootcamp

Girls’ coding bootcamp was a web development session done for school girls. It was organized by Women Techmakers Sri Lanka and IEEE women in Engineering Sri Lanka. It was happened on 2nd and 3rd of December 2017 in University of Colombo. I get to know that organizers are calling upon for mentors by a published poster in WTM fb page. I was seleted as a mentor for the event, it was a women only event. So only 20 girls have been selected as mentors snd about 50 school girls participated for the event. I was really happy that I get this opportunity because it is very good to improve my soft skills and also my teaching skills. Those two days were really well spent days in my life. Among those 50 participants there were Ordinary Level students as well as Advanced Level students. Knowledge we gain from Halo Career Development Training 2017

Halo Career Development Training session was organized by google women tech makers Sri Lanka on 8th October parallel  to DevFest 2017. This session was held for women in IT field.  We had several sessions there on how to develop our career needs, our soft skills etc. First we had a mini stretch training.  In this session we learnt how we can promote ourselves and our achievements effectively. This session was done by Wyunii Luu.   As an internal Team Development Consultant, Wynnii works with teams on identifying training needs.  In her 6 years at Google, Wynnii’s experience and expertise span across talent acquisition, employer branding, learning and development, external and internal communities engagement for the Asia Pacific region.  She currently leads efforts that focus on attracting top talent in two diverse regions, Southeast Asia and Greater China. Life with NSBM DevOps Community

NSBM DevOps Community is the place I found my talent for organizing events.I joined to lead the DevOps Community events in 2017.I got the chance to join because of a senior of NSBM( Buddhi Charith ).The goal of the community is to sharpen the programming skills of students. DevOps is a combination of computing students of NSBM.You can find more about NSBM DevOps from  here . As my first event organized by the DevOps community, we did a game development event in collaboration with Unity.I was a co-lead for this event.
